Mabel’s book club

A quarterly community experience that begins with a collective book pickup and kickoff gathering. Members are paired with a small, neighborhood-based group to read, reflect, and connect.

Support your local event tote bags with name tags on a table at a community event, with a sign welcoming attendees to a move-in day at Elin Hilderbrand's book giveaway, and a copy of her book 'The Hotel Nantucket' on display.

HOW IT WORKS

Collective Book Pickup

Each quarter, we’ll kick things off with a community gathering where you can mingle with other book club members and collect our next read. This is also a great chance to discuss last quarter’s read with those you didn’t connect with in your group.

Neighborhood-Based Pairings

To keep things convenient, we’ll group book club members together based on neighborhood proximity. This makes it more feasible to get together and share your thoughts each quarter!

Books We’ve Read

your questions, answered

  • Lookout for an Instagram post to nominate and vote for your favorite book club options. The final book is announced the next day on Instagram and kicks off ticket sales for that season's group kick off!

  • Check out our upcoming Book Club Kick Off events here.

  • We host a kick off party in one central location to get everyone together to meet + mingle + pick up your book! From there, you're introduced to your neighborhood groups and it's up to your small group to determine where and when you meet!

  • he neighborhood groups were specifically designed to enable further reading in between the seasonal (4x /year) larger group kick offs. If you'd like to select another book in your small group and keep reading, we encourage that!
