MABEL’s Terms & Conditions
Mabel of Marblehead Event Terms & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: August 2026
These Event Terms apply to tickets and registrations for public and community events hosted or produced by Mabel of Marblehead unless different terms are expressly stated on the applicable event page.
By purchasing a ticket or registering for a Mabel event, you agree to the following terms.
1. Ticket Purchases
Event registration is not confirmed until required payment has been received.
Tickets are subject to availability and may be limited based on venue capacity, event format, materials, or other considerations.
Unless otherwise stated on the applicable event page, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
2. Guest Cancellations
If you are unable to attend an event, your ticket is non-refundable unless otherwise expressly stated on the event listing.
Failure to attend an event does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund, credit, or transfer to another Mabel event.
Because many Mabel events require advance commitments to venues, collaborators, materials, food, beverages, and other event costs, Mabel is generally unable to provide refunds for individual guest cancellations.
3. Ticket Transfers
Unless otherwise stated for a particular event, guests may transfer their ticket to another person by notifying Mabel prior to the event.
The original purchaser is responsible for providing Mabel with the replacement guest's name and any other information reasonably required for the event.
Tickets may not be resold for more than their original purchase price.
4. Event Changes
Mabel reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an event when necessary.
Changes may include the event schedule, programming, speakers, instructors, collaborators, vendors, venue, location, activities, or other details.
A reasonable change to event programming or participating vendors, speakers, or collaborators does not constitute an event cancellation and does not automatically entitle ticket holders to a refund.
5. Event Cancellation by Mabel
If Mabel cancels an event and does not provide a rescheduled date, ticket holders will receive a refund of the ticket price paid.
If an event is rescheduled, existing tickets will automatically be honored for the new date.
If a ticket holder is unable to attend the rescheduled date, Mabel will provide instructions regarding available refund or credit options.
6. Severe Weather & Circumstances Beyond Mabel's Control
Mabel events may be affected by severe weather, unsafe conditions, venue closures, emergencies, illness, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances outside Mabel's reasonable control.
When possible, Mabel will first attempt to safely proceed with, relocate, modify, or reschedule the event.
If an event cannot reasonably proceed, Mabel will communicate available options to registered guests, which may include rescheduling, a credit, or a refund depending on the circumstances and recoverability of event costs.
Mabel is not responsible for guests' incidental expenses associated with an event cancellation or rescheduling, including transportation, accommodations, childcare, or other personal expenses.
7. Minimum Attendance
Certain events may require a minimum number of registrations to proceed.
If Mabel cancels an event because the required minimum attendance is not reached, registered guests will receive a refund of the ticket price paid or may be offered the option to apply the amount toward a rescheduled event.
8. Late Arrival
Guests are responsible for arriving at the time specified in the event details.
Some experiences involve scheduled instruction, meals, transportation, timed venue access, or group activities and may not be able to accommodate late arrivals.
Late arrival or missed portions of an event do not qualify for a refund.
9. Food, Beverage, Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
Some events may include food or beverages provided by Mabel, the event venue, caterers, collaborators, or other third parties.
Guests are responsible for notifying Mabel of allergies or dietary restrictions when requested during registration.
While reasonable efforts may be made to accommodate dietary needs, Mabel cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or the absence of cross-contact.
10. Photography & Video
Photography and/or video may take place during Mabel events for use on Mabel's website, social media, marketing materials, and other promotional channels.
Guests who do not wish to appear in identifiable photography or video should notify Mabel prior to or upon arrival at the event. Mabel will make reasonable efforts to accommodate those requests.
11. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their own personal property during events.
Mabel is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal belongings except to the extent required by applicable law.
12. Guest Conduct
Mabel events are designed to create welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable experiences.
Mabel reserves the right to refuse admission or require a guest to leave an event for behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise materially interferes with the experience of other guests, staff, venues, vendors, or collaborators.
A guest removed for such conduct will not be entitled to a refund.
13. Participation
Participation in Mabel events and activities is voluntary.
Guests are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for them and participating within their own abilities and comfort level.
14. Agreement to Event Terms
By purchasing a ticket or registering for a Mabel event, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Event Terms & Cancellation Policy as well as any additional terms stated on the applicable event page.

If an initial applicant is not accepted into the Creatives Club, the initial membership payment will be refunded.
Once an applicant has been accepted and membership has begun, the standard no-refund and cancellation policies below apply.
3. Monthly Billing & Automatic Renewal
Creatives Club memberships are recurring monthly memberships.

Membership rates may change in the future. Members will be notified in advance of any change to their recurring membership rate.
4. Cancellation Policy
Members may cancel their membership at any time by providing at least 30 days’ written notice to Mabel of Marblehead.
Because 30 days’ notice is required, a membership may renew and an additional monthly payment may be charged if the next billing date falls within the 30-day cancellation notice period.
Membership and applicable benefits will remain active through the member’s final paid membership period.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Mabel of Marblehead.
5. No Refunds
Except for an initial applicant who is not accepted into the Creatives Club, all membership payments are non-refundable.
Mabel does not provide full or partial refunds for:
Membership cancellations
Unused membership benefits
Missed events or programming
A member’s inability to attend in-person or digital programming
Partial months of membership

Members are responsible for managing their membership and submitting cancellation requests in accordance with the 30-day cancellation policy.
6. Member Directory
All active Creatives Club members are eligible to be included in the Mabel’s Creatives Club Member Directory.
Members are responsible for providing accurate information, images, links, and other materials requested for their directory listing and for notifying Mabel if that information changes.
Upon the conclusion of a member’s final paid membership period, their listing will be removed from the Member Directory.
By submitting information for the Member Directory, members give Mabel permission to publish the submitted business information, biography, headshot, logo, website, social media links, and other materials provided for the purpose of promoting and facilitating connections within the Creatives Club.
7. Events & Programming
Membership does not guarantee admission to every Creatives Club event.
Certain events may:
Require separate registration
Have limited capacity
Be available on a first-come, first-served basis
Require an additional ticket or fee
Offer member-specific or discounted pricing
Full Members may receive access to programming that is not included with Digital Membership.
Mabel reserves the right to add, remove, reschedule, relocate, modify, or cancel programming as needed.
8. Community Expectations
The Creatives Club is intended to foster genuine connection, collaboration, learning, and support among its members.
Members are expected to engage respectfully and professionally with other members, speakers, partners, vendors, and the Mabel community.
Mabel reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership for conduct that is disruptive, inappropriate, harmful to another member, inconsistent with the purpose of the community, or otherwise detrimental to Mabel or the Creatives Club.
Membership may also be terminated for misuse of member information or resources.
9. Member Information & Privacy
Information shared within the Creatives Club Member Directory or private community is intended to facilitate genuine member-to-member connection.
Members may not scrape, reproduce, sell, distribute, or use the Member Directory or other member information for unsolicited mass marketing, spam, or other unauthorized commercial purposes.
Members should use discretion when sharing confidential or proprietary business information within Club conversations. Participation in the Creatives Club does not create a confidentiality obligation between members unless those members separately agree otherwise.
10. Membership Benefits & Changes
Mabel’s Creatives Club is an evolving community. Specific benefits, platforms, events, schedules, speakers, locations, and programming may change over time.
Mabel may make reasonable changes to membership benefits or these Membership Terms & Conditions as the Club evolves. Material changes affecting membership pricing or cancellation terms will be communicated to active members.
11. Membership Is Individual
Unless otherwise stated by Mabel, each Creatives Club membership is intended for one individual and may not be shared, transferred, or used by multiple individuals or businesses.
